Samia Suluhu Hassan, the President of Tanzania, who is in the UAE, met with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
During the meeting, which was held at the Al Shati Palace, the sides discussed their friendship and ways to further their cooperation, notably in investment, economic and development areas. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
UAE's successful hosting of Expo 2020 Dubai, sustainability solutions and innovations shown by various nations, and the significance of Expo for experts, specialists, and decision-makers to address common challenges in the UAE were discussed.
During her visit, President Hassan expressed her appreciation for the warmth of the welcome and hospitality she received, stressing how keen her country is to strengthen its relations with the UAE in all crucial areas, most notably in investment, economy, commerce, and sustainable development. In addition, she praised the support provided by the UAE to Tanzania for development and humanitarian aid.
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed thanked Tanzania for supporting the UAE and condemning the recent Houthi attacks against the country. In attendance at the meeting were Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; and other officials.
